Software provider, Stardraw.com, has launched the latest version of their award-winning design/documentation software for AV systems integrators. Stardraw Design 7.4 is available for download from the Stardraw.com website and is a free upgrade for all users that hold a current Subscription to Stardraw Design 7.3.

All of the new features are based on user feedback and requests from Stardraw's extensive userbase that covers more than 83 countries worldwide, and focus on performance, productivity and efficiency.

Stardraw Design 7.4's new backend includes a switch to .NET 9, migration to the SQLite database engine and support of native ARM64 compilation. Put together, core operations like opening and saving projects and switching views are up to 10 times faster. Coupled with High DPI support for ultra-high resolution displays under all Windows scaling conditions, the new version runs faster and looks eye-poppingly sharp on 4K, 5K and even 8K monitors.

Powerful new grid views - similar to a spreadsheet - make it easy to manage data in ways that enhance productivity, with sorting, filtering and dynamic fill capabilities, all the while integrating data across your projects with dynamic links to objects in other views. This means that even more can be achieved in Stardraw Design 7.4's Products View and its all-new Cables View, a major upgrade to the way Cables are managed across the whole project.

Perhaps the most notable addition in the new features line-up, only some of which we can mention here, is the new Report Designer; this enterprise-grade reports author unlocks the true power of the data stored in projects, allowing users to manipulate and analyse project, product, cable and drawing data in ways that are limited only by their imagination. Reports, either static or interactive, give dynamic insights and new capabilities to the designers of AV systems using Stardraw Design 7.4.
