Library Updates

  • Updates to the library are published regularly, usually every business day; see recent updates
  • Additions to the library are prioritized based on Product Requests from registered users
  • In 2026, of the Product Requests that have been published into the library:
    • Over 80% were published within 2 business days
    • 90% were published within one week
  • To ensure a swift response to Product Requests:
    • Block Schematic symbols show technically accurate inputs and outputs
    • Plan View symbols, if required, conform to the J-STD-710 standard
    • Other symbols are based on generic representations of the product type
    • Generic symbols may be replaced with 'manufacturer-specific' symbols at a later date, but publication of the Requested Product is not delayed for the purposes of specific representations
  • Errors in the library (we're only human!) can be reported to symbols@stardraw.com and corrections should be published within 1 business day
